“Damascus” has been selected as one of the outstanding works in the 7th International Festival of Short Films on Cultural Tourism (IFFC). This annual event will take place from December 16 to 18, 2024, in the ancient and spiritual city of Prayagraj, located in Uttar Pradesh, India. Known for its religious and historical significance, Prayagraj provides a unique setting for showcasing cultural, historical, and tourism-centered artworks.
In this edition of the festival, there is a broad competition with over 4,391 films from 144 countries submitted for consideration. From these submissions, only 101 films from 49 countries, including the music video “Damascus,” have made it to the final stage and are eligible to compete for awards. The selection of “Damascus” as one of the finalist films reflects its cultural appeal and powerful messaging in the fields of tourism and art.
