About us

Orimond company started its activity in the field of producing and distributing documentary films since 2011, since most of its activities are in the international field and local festivals, it is totally ready to accept requests from other countries so that it can make its media productions in Iran and the Middle East.

The Orimond Company works in the field of distributing documentaries and feature films. This company takes a special strategy towards any film presented to it to reach the audience in the best possible way and be followed up, as it deserves.

Abolfazl Tajik

Filmmaker, producer, and researcher - holds a Master Degree in cinema from Tehran University of Art. He began his cinematic career in 2016 by making a short film titled "In night's darkness" which was selected in some national and international film festivals. Then he researched, directed and produced some documentaries. He is interested in travelling and making documentaries, especially about local and ethnic rituals, customs and traditions. He has recently established the filmmaking institute of Fartak Filmnegaar in 2022. He has participated in the one-year filmmaking course at Iranian Youth Cinema Society (IYCS), a few specialized workshops in Iran International Documentary Film Festival "Cinema Verite", Tehran International Short Film Festival, and… "Fadisheh", his first documentary which has been made in 2018 received the Second (Iran) Documentary TV Festival's (held by IRIB Mostanad Channel) award and trophy for Audience Choice of best mid-length documentary film.

Hamed Kolajei

Cinema graduate of Tehran University of Culture and Arts and a member of the Iranian Association of Documentary Film Directors. So far, he has made several documentaries, short and feature documentaries; Among the documentaries of "Paradise cypress tree", "a selection from the land of Pars", "Parsyad", "Hami Shelter", "Messengers of purity", the documentary series: "The thirsty land", "the circle of lovers", "Marian" the documentary series: "A Thousand Years' Heritage" and… .

Mohammad Khaleel Al Sharrad

Holder of Bachelor of science degree in the media section of radio and television from the University of Imam kadhim in Baghdad.

Amir Masoud Soheili

Filmmaker, Festival director and programmer. He has won more than 40 awards from over 300 film festivals with his movies "Blue-eyed boy" (2014) and "Elephant bird"(2019). He was a member of 9 film festivals, including the Yogya Netpac Asian Film Festival (2015), Avanca International Film Festival in Portugal (2016 and 2018), SAARC Film Festival in Sri Lanka (2017), International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala in India (2018), Malatya International Film Festival in Turkey (2018), Dhaka International Youth Film Festival in Bagladesh (2020), Accra Indie Film Festival in Ghana (2022) and Chaktomuk Short Film Festival (2022). Masoud is co-founder and creative director of the "Asia Peace Film Festival" in Islamabad, Pakistan, and programmer of the "Changing Perspective Intentional Film Festival" in Istanbul, Turkey. Student at Lusòfona university in Lisboa, Portugal.

Amir Athar Soheili

With 18 years of working in the cinema industry, Amir Athar Soheili is a professional lecturer, writer, and director with deep knowledge and understanding of cinema. In addition to several movies broadcast on television, he has directed a number of creative films that have been honored at international film festivals. Amir Athar is currently a professor of film studies at Elmi-Karbordi University and the president of Simiya Film company.

Mohammad Khaleel Al Sharrad

Holder of Bachelor of science degree in the media section of radio and television from the University of Imam kadhim in Baghdad.
He began his career in 2004 when he trained in the field of television editing at a professional course and then worked as an editor and a photographer on several television channels inside and outside Iraq, Including Al-Forat Tv-Beladi Tv, Kuwait Tv, Al-Jazeere Tv and other television channels.
In 2017, Mohammad moved to the cinema, where he and some of his friends worked with a film production team.
Filmography; Director & Producer & writer Dreams under the Rubble (short feature) 2018: "Dreams Under the Rubble" An Iraqi film tells the story of a paramedic working in a field hospital during the war with a terrorist, where a girl is found under the rubble of a destroyed house.
Director & writer Tok Tok Driver (short Documentary) 2020: Tok Tok Driver, story of Iraqi volunteered to fight against ISIS. the war has over but our hero did not finish his battles.
Director & D.o.p & Editor Gharib Rey (Documentary) 2008: Gharib Rey is a documentary film that talks about the biography of Sayyid Abd al-Azim al-Hasani, a Shiite scholar who was buried near the Iranian city of Tehran
Director & Editor & D.o.p: Iranian National Library (Documentary) 2007: A documentary film about the Iranian National Library, which is considered one of the most important and largest libraries in the Middle East. The film talks about the stages of establishing this great edifice and the most important services provided by this library.
