Aleppo, The Silence of the War

More information

Our daily life is full of sounds that we no longer hear because they are repeated as if they did not exist. The sound of passing cars, the sound of the radio in traffic, the noise of traffic, the hum of children playing, the sound of birds singing every morning to tell us about the start of the day.

But, in Aleppo, the people are used to hear war, rockets and missiles. The people have been accustomed to the sound of crying mothers and fathers, the sound of breaking glass and destroying homes. But now the war is over, and everything is drowned in silence and the sound of the wind.

But now the war is over, and everything is drowned in silence and the sound of the wind. A silence equal to the silence of an eternity filled with fear and loneliness, full of stories buried under the rubbles.
